Who Is Spamton?

Spamton G. Spamton is a glitchy puppet salesman from the Cyber World's Trash Zone. Once a successful email marketer, he fell from grace and now lives in a dumpster, desperate to make deals and become a "BIG SHOT." He is the Chapter 2 secret boss and one of the most popular and memetic characters in Deltarune.

Appearance & Personality

Spamton looks like a worn-out marionette with a wide grin, oversized glasses, and a cheap suit. His dialogue is glitchy, full of sales jargon, and often breaks into all-caps rants about deals, kromer, and freedom.

Despite his comic exterior, Spamton's story is tragic. He was once at the top of his field, then lost everything. His obsession with becoming a "BIG SHOT" reflects a fear of irrelevance and a desire to escape the strings controlling him.

Story Role

In the normal route of Chapter 2, Spamton offers Kris a series of increasingly shady deals. If the player accepts his final deal and follows the quest line, they unlock the Spamton NEO secret boss fight in Queen's Mansion basement.

In the SnowGrave Route, Spamton plays a larger role. He appears as a mandatory story boss and has unique dialogue reflecting the darker tone of that path.

Spamton's Shop

After the initial alleyway fight, Spamton opens a shop in the Trash Zone. Here, players can buy:

• KeyGen: Required to unlock Spamton NEO. Wait for the price to drop below 100 Kromer.
• Various consumable items and joke products.

• Hidden room cutscene: In Chapter 3, entering the Bonus Room with the Dealmaker or Puppet Scarf triggers a special Spamton and Tenna interaction.
• Email origins: Spamton's speech patterns and backstory reference spam emails and shady online sales tactics.

Lore Connections

Spamton is heavily implied to have been manipulated by a mysterious figure (possibly Gaster or another unseen force) through phone calls. His fall from grace mirrors the broader theme of Deltarune's characters being trapped by fate, prophecy, and outside control.

His popularity has made him a focal point for fan theories about the game's hidden lore, especially regarding the nature of the Dark World and the identity of the Knight.
